Essential information about the FESTIVAL.
The 27th annual festival will be held March 21, 22, and 23, 2025 in Othello, WA.
Online registration will commence on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be advised that events tend to sell out rapidly.
The festival’s locations are THE CHURCH (The Othello Church of Nazarene, 835 S. 10th Avenue) and THE SCHOOL (The Middle School), next door.
Lectures take place on Saturday and tours/field trips are offered from Thursday to Sunday.
A $10.00 general admission ticket (children under twelve are free with a paid adult) gets you into the Festival on Saturday and covers all lectures and events. Viewing and hiking tours have an added cost per tour.
LOCATION: The Red and Blue rooms are within THE CHURCH, and the Purple and Brown Rooms are at the SCHOOL.
Friday night's featured presentation will be author BRUCE BJORNSTAD, who will discuss the evolution of Grand Coulee through a unique bird' s-eye view of this 50-mile-long canyon. The lecture is FREE and open to all. Bruce’s books can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Saturday night's featured presentation will be by author REBECCA HEISMAN talking about "Wild Stories from the History of Bird Migration Research. This lecture will be included with general admission. Rebecca’s book can be purchased in advance or at the door.
